Presented by AWS: Production-Ready Autonomous Incident Resolution with AWS DevOps Agent and Datadog MCP Server
About this Session
Incident response is evolving from manual investigation to autonomous resolution. This session demonstrates how AWS DevOps Agent and Datadog MCP Server integration delivers production-ready autonomous incident triage, investigation, and mitigation across AWS, multicloud, and hybrid environments.
Attendees will learn how Datadog MCP Server bridges observability data with AI agents via the Model Context Protocol, enabling autonomous access to logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and monitors without the brittleness of direct API calls. This session will showcase how AWS DevOps Agent learns resource relationships, correlates telemetry with code and deployment data, and produces actionable mitigation plans.
Through a live demo, the session will walk through a real-world scenario: API Gateway 5XX errors detected by Datadog monitors trigger AWS DevOps Agent to analyze the incident, correlate logs across services, identify Lambda-DynamoDB misconfigurations, implement fixes, and generate prevention recommendations. Resolution times drop from hours to minutes with deeper root cause analysis.
The session will also show how Amazon Kiro integrates with DevOps Agent and Datadog MCP to shift prevention left into development, surfacing production observability data in the IDE so developers can identify and fix issues before they reach production.
