About this Session
Modern applications are built on a complex web of microservices that can easily hide performance issues. Without end-to-end observability, triaging latency and errors becomes a slow, manual process that impacts both development velocity and user experience.
In this hands-on workshop, you will instrument an application with Datadog Application Performance Monitoring (APM) to gain immediate visibility across your stack. You will investigate distributed traces, identify performance bottlenecks, and explore add-on features like Continuous Profiling. Finally, you will transition from reactive debugging to proactive engineering by configuring monitors to trigger automated alerts when service health declines.
